- it is important to have people of color doing this work, because the need an authentic local voice

- allows for people to iterate on the content

- Visual Element program as part of the cultural center

- murals are localized and speak to the community that are in
- Art is a connection to global issues, considering these posters in an international context
- lots of art activism that needs to mesh with the technology

- day labourers getting robbed for the cash they carry at the end of the day
- looking for different funding options, outside of arts funding
- looking for single donors, not institutions, can't work for institutions that take the radical out of the work
