3 Ways to Connect with Sold Out STT
Response to this year’s Social Tech Training has been overwhelming, especially since last week’s offer of free tuition to select NGOs, and we’re pleased to announce that this year’s event is officially sold out!
Despite the downturn, it’s clear non profits are investing in digital media to help them create the innovative programs that they will need in the months and years ahead, and we’re thrilled to welcome all of our participants to Toronto’s MaRS Centre this June.
For those who were not able to register, there are 3 ways you can still stay connected:
- You can still get on our waiting list. We’ll be contacting organizations from that list to fill our final spots over the next few weeks. Please email [email protected] to have your name added.
- Check out live updates and key learnins from our content online. We are going to be capturing lots of the content from Social Tech Training and sharing those resources through video, blog, Twitter, photos and more—both here and on the Net Change Week site
- You can also check out MyCharityConnects (MCC)— our partner event in Toronto—and another outstanding training opportunity. Hosted by CanadaHelps, MCC is an introductory web training event for the non-profit sector and will provide valuable skills on a range of web and social media tools.
CanadaHelps is proud to host a two-day “Bachelor’s level” conference for fundraisers and marketers in the charitable sector. Comprised of 4 keynotes and 25 workshops on various “Philanthropy 2.0” topics including, social networking, online fundraising campaigns, e-newsletters and blogs, attendees will walk away with decision making tips, best practices, new ideas and a greater sense of return on investment.
Visit mycharityconnects.org for details and registration. And thanks to everyone for your response to this year’s Social Tech Training, we know we've really hit on a huge need here as evidenced by the huge demand.
