Draft Agenda now Available

Our draft agenda is now available. We've identified five key themes, and are in the process of deciding on the best sessions and the best leaders to bring those themes to life.

Now Accepting Applications

As many of you know, we hold Web of Change at Hollyhock because it is an amazing place and because we believe that as a venue, it contributes a great deal to the overall impact of our event. At the same time, however, holding the event at Hollyhock also means that we simply don't have room for everyone who wants to attend Web of Change.

Get Your 2007 Badges Here

Some of you may remember our sweet badges from last year – giving anyone the opportunity to proclaim their WOC pride to the whole internet. Well we've updated them for 2007, and you're in the right place if you'd like one.

Ramping Up for '07!

Web of Change 2007 is starting to come alive. We're re-energizing our vision for this year and we're excited. Stay tuned, because within the next few weeks we'll be updating this website with all the information you need.

*Almost* Full!

With two weeks left to go, and new requests for information and attendance coming through the proverbial door every day... Web of Change 2006 is basically sold out. This is going to be our biggest conference to date!

Less Than 3 Weeks to Go!

Less than three weeks to go until Web of Change, and I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and re-connecting with returning folk. This will be my fourth time at WoC and Hollyhock in as many years.

One aphorism keeps coming up when I think of how WoC re-energizes me each fall. "When you are knee deep in alligators, it's hard to remember that the goal was to drain the swamp." Not the eco-friendliest of metaphors, but work with me.

Web of Change 2006 will be our best ever

You know, I really think so. If you're interested in hearing why I make this bombastic cliam, check out my pre-Labour day post here.

Conference Agenda Posted

Our tentative (but fairly solid) agenda is now posted! Check it out. We'll be blogging more details about content in the coming weeks, but the important stuff is all there now, from keynotes to breakouts. We're really pleased with the session ideas that have emerged from all of our discussions with our community, and from the tireless work of the convening team.

Possible Sessions for WOC

We've been hard at work coming up with great content for this September's conference, and we wanted to post some of what we're working on. Lots of you have been asking for an agenda, and while we won't have a finalized one for a bit longer, we do have a lot of fantastic evolving content.

Call for Session/Workshop Leaders

Web of Change isn't your average run-of-the-mill conference - and neither are our workshop sessions. Think circle under the trees – not stale hotel room. Think dynamic discussion – not dry lecture. Think passion, experience, and honesty – not expertise and canned responses. Think questions – not answers.

If you get what this means, than you might not only belong at Web of Change – you might also be perfect for participating in a panel or leading a conference session.

Website Badges Now Available!

We're excited about our new website badges! There are four different designs, and they're pretty sweet.

Grab one for your site if you like them—or like us—and help us get the word out about Web of Change. Thanks!
