Opening Up Leadership at Open Everything

I've just come back from the latest Web of Change conference, held two weeks ago at Hollyhock Retreat Centre on Cortes Island called Open Everything. I had the pleasure of being the logistics coordinator and onsite support person for the event.

Open Everything

September 3-6 I’ll be joining the Web of Change team to co-host an event called Open Everything at Hollyhock that seeks to explore what this second stage of open will look like and how it can be made more successful, not just in the world of Linux and Microsoft, but across all areas — software, hardware, philanthropy, public policy, business, etc..

In short, what does being “open” mean? What will it mean? And what could it mean?

Open Everything Gets Rolling

We're really excited to let you know about the Open Everything Retreat, coming this fall to Hollyhock. Former WOC convener Mark Surman is at the helm, supported by Jason Mogus, David Eaves, and Mike Lewkowitz.

Alia McKee“Web of Change isn’t a ‘wham bam here’s my business card’ conference. I made sincere personal and professional connections with people that have lasted. Five days on Cortes Island offered me the time to learn, laugh, and understand my work and my larger place in the progressive community.”
