Open Everything Gets Rolling

We're really excited to let you know about the Open Everything Retreat, coming this fall to Hollyhock. Former WOC convener Mark Surman is at the helm, supported by Jason Mogus, David Eaves, and Mike Lewkowitz.

From the Open Everything website:

Open Everything is a global conversation about the art, science and spirit of 'open'. It gathers people using openness to create and improve software, education, media, philanthropy, architecture, neighbourhoods, workplaces and the society we live in: everything. It's about thinking, doing and being open.

This three-day retreat at Hollyhock is part of a series. There are also a number of half day events in cities around the world.

Eventually, the hope is that different kinds of Open Everything will happen all over the place – the above events are intended as starting points.

Please note that Open Everything is not a replacement for our annual Web of Change event at Hollyhock. However, if your work closely aligns with the driving ideas behind Open, then please do drop us a line and request an invitation.

Testimonials

"Web of Change isn’t a “wham bam here’s my business card” conference. I made sincere personal and professional connections with people that have lasted. Five days on Cortes Island offered me the luxury of time to learn, laugh, and understand my work and my larger place in the progressive community."
